Many people spend thousands on their equipment and never think of the room. Your room is the most important interconnect in your system. Diffusion is the best way to “open up” the sound of a system and improve image width, depth and specificity. For sale are two pairs of 2’ x 4’ AQD diffusers. This gives you two pairs of matched diffusers. One pair can be used between the speakers to create an image without reflections or glare. The second matched pair can be used in the rear of the room or in combination with absorption for first and second reflection points on the sidewalls. The diffusers are made of dense three pound foam. It has taken years to find a consistent supplier for this higher density foam. Diffusers are unpainted and new. Pricing will increase after January 30.

| Greg,can I order just 4 diffusersI photo labeled matched pair not the photo labeled 2nd matched pair i.e. 4 male diffusers I believe?Also these are made of rigid nonporous foam,is that correct,thanks Ron. Great question, and yes you can but the cost is the same. We have tried this in the past and one they did not ship as well without the mate. They tend to shift in the box.Secondly now we have four matched to sell you could use in your room either in the rear of the room or on combination with your absorption panels.Third the shipping cost was the same.

| What is the effective frequency range the QRDs will diffuse? Range of diffusion is ~1KHz to 8Khz
It is absorbent above that range to beyond audibility and reactive below that range down to ~ 200Hz. It will work below 200Hz by spacing it out from the wall and adding cardboard, masonite or light plywood to the back.
