The Kolossus Grounding Station is a revolutionary product from Core Audio Technology. More like an active shielding system, the Kolossus can dramatically reduce your noise floor and provide more realism and organic character than any other power conditioner or grounding solution available. The Kolossus eliminates ground noises, hums, and dramatically improves the shielding performance of your audio equipment by decreasing shield impedance, increasing shield bandwidth, and pulling that noise mercilessly away from your system. The Battle

We have all experienced the notorious ground loop hum. While the most common is a 60hz or 120hz hum, grounding is far more complex than this. With the introduction of digital systems you are battling both high and low frequency grounds that all have the potential to pollute the system and generate tremendous amounts of noise (both audible and inaudible). High frequency noise can wreak havok on your audio system, and while not as annoying as a 60hz hum, its removal will have a significant sonic impact on ANY audio system regardless of whether it has audible grounding issues or not.

At its simplest we want a zero impedance path to ground to create a perfect zero reference for the system. One path for all noise to travel away from the system.

No Mercy

Even with the best power supplies you are at the mercy of how everything is grounded. To float the ground? To AC couple? To multi point ground? To single point ground? In an audio system all components get connected to ground somewhere. How many places the system is connected determines how many paths there are for noise to travel to ground or into other components via interconnecting cables. Then you have digital and analog ground. But even the best systems with separate power supplies and grounds for each of those elements must still connect those elements somewhere in the hopes that your home has enough magnetic pull to complete the job. 

The Grounding System

The Kolossus Grounding System is the solution to all of your system grounding needs.

What we've done is created a single point grounding system for your entire system. Our grounding system uses extremely high powered magnets, harmonic dampeners, and varying gauge wires all layed out in our patent-pending magnetic grounding array. What this does is creates a zero impedance path to ground for your entire system that dramatically reduces the impedance to ground of any component like a vacuum. An electrical signal flowing through this magnetic field increases the current at all frequencies along the wire and thus decreases impedance and removes tremendous amounts of noise from your audio system. This technique totally sucks noise away from your system, cures ground loops, and creates such a substantial improvement to your sound that you must to hear to believe.

If any of those things are true, yes you folks still can benefit from this grounding station. Star grounding creates a single point ground for your system, but does not eliminate impedance mismatches and can often do more harm than good. Even systems without ground loops still hugely benefit from the sonic impacts of pulling noise away from the system. Even the best AC power conditioners and power supplies are at the mercy of how noise is pulled away from the system. Even if the conditioner passes common mode noise to ground, the ground must still be able to pull it away. Your power conditioner is still at the mercy of your home's ground. Even our power supplies, as well grounded as they are, cannot fix grounding problems in your other components or in the rest of your system. This improves even the best of our power supplies by further reducing the impedance path to ground.

International

Because this is just a grounding system it contains no voltage or power components so it can be used in any country without modification (assume you use a standard US wall receptacle, but we can provide Schuko upon request for a fee).
