Technical details are important but what truly and ONLY matters is if product is able to deliver sonic results promised by supposedly superior technology used . How often that happens? Not too often apparently judging by amount of gear changing hands even on this site...
I'm not going to write that you will have to send your wife to the other room or even outside the house to look for cello from the right channel because suddenly your soundstage will explode so much, that half off the music will leave your listening room. It is a very hedonistic hobby and pretty much solitary as much as we would like to pretend that sharing it with loved ones and friends is so motivating. It's all about pleasure and trying to get the best life has to offer.Connecting this cable to your source , Dac, preamplifier (or sophisticated moderate power integrated) is like smuggling fine Cohiba cigar and very , very vintage bourbon to your room for a moment of forbidden pleasure . Forget the "stratification" (I don't even know what that is ) "fine layering of instruments " and soundstage qualities . Do you really think in similar terms when tasting the pleasures of life ... I don't think so .
