We have (at the time of listing) 7 Katana 2 AC Power Cables that were traded-in toward Katana 3s. So I'm selling them off as demo units, all in great shape. Price is $800/ea or $700 if you buy 2 or more. If we run out of trade-ins and you want to take advantage of the savings, as long as you purchase at least one demo Katana 2 we'll extend the sale to as many as you would like to purchase at one time.

A quick glance and you may mistake this as a normal audiophile power cable. Implementing two of our patent-pending MNF modules and all new shielding and wire geometry, the Katana 2 is a real game changer in terms of power conditioning performance.

Unlike traditional power filters that impede dynamic current, the MNF modules dramatically increase dynamic current by controlling and accelerating electrical signals through the cable. This in turn eliminates noise at very high frequencies without peaks or nulls in impedance.

This power cable is a component level upgrade and will outperform cables in the $5k+ range. We are yet to find a cable that comes anywhere close to what the Katana 2 can do sonically for an audio system.

Note: We have 3-4 Demo cables available from a customer who traded-in towards the Katana 3 ($3000), trade-in cables are available for 20% off each or 30% if you buy 3 or more.

My system already uses a high-end linear power supply and power conditioning, why would these benefit my system?

Even the best linear power supplies do not have infinite filter bandwidth. The Majority of decent linear power supplies have excellent filtration at low frequencies, but they often lack performance in the MHZ and GHZ+ ranges. These noise voltage can cause tremendous damage to your audio system, much moreso than low frequency noise. Capacitors and Inductors are not perfect, and so high frequency noise bypasses even the smallest value capacitors via inductance in the capacitor's leads and capacitance in the inductor's. Even many shielded cables, though great at removing much noise, have the issue of capacitance generated between shield and cable, shield and shield, and from cable to cable. With proper isolation and geometry it's possible to circumvent these limitation in cable design, but it's not possible to have a perfect capacitor or inductor. Regulated power supplies offer many tradeoffs and to achieve the kind of performance of our cable's high frequency filtration requires tremendous cost (just look at some of our power supply designs). In a linear regulator you face the tradeoff between bandwidth and band-gap noise. The higher the bandwidth, the faster the transient response, but the higher the bandgap noise. The lower the bandwidth the slower the response, but the lower the bandgap noise. This means high frequency input noise often couples to the output even through low-pass filtered bandgap regulators (as many discrete designs are). The high frequency effects of these cables and dynamic current availability make them a tremendous upgrade to any system and even the best linear power supplies on the market.

"Hi Ryan,

So. . . I got to try out the speaker cables, grounding cables and katana 2. . . really AWESOME! I started with the speaker cables and the improvement they made was the difference between sounding pretty good and really being enjoyable to listen to! Next week I will install the speaker wire inside the cabs. Next I tried the Katana 2 power cable on the Kratos and it sounded a lot better! Then I tried the Katana 2 on the 12v Nano supply for the Hilo and the improvement was even great, even though all the Hilo is doing is converting the USB from the computer to sp/dif for the Kratos. Next I tried the Katana 2 on the Kenai, not really knowing what to expect. It was the greatest improvement yet, so that is where it will remain until I can buy some more Katana 2 cables!

I am waiting for Lynx to send a replacement USB card for my Hilo so I can use the 15' USB cable and put the computer in the computer room. I wanted to see what it will sound like, so we hooked up the grounding cable to the iso tx and powered the computer with it while the Kenai is feeding everything else. The katana 1 cable on the iso tx was loose and we are going to fix that, but what I really want to do is replace that cable with a katana 2 cable because this will be powering the computer. Would it be possible to trade in the cable connected to it and buy a Katana 2 that has 3 lugs or bananas on the end that I can connect inside the iso tx? And the lead before the magnet module would need to be long enough (8 inches" ?) so that the magnet would sit outside the iso tx. That would be really great, and then I can see about finding the money for Katana 2's to use with the Hilo and clock power supplies, kratos, and bae 500 supply. I was suprised how much an improvment the Katana 2 was over the 1.

I also need to order 2 more grounding cables with banana connectors on one side. Thanks!" Jeff K

"Ryan got the stuff can't set up conditioner till the morning but put AC cord on amp and its a big winner. Far better brand new than a two grand synergistic cord that was shielded by a four hundred dollar dc supply. Much much clearer and naturally detailed crazy better. And the synergistic cord had sounded way better than four other very good contenders. Wow. Jeff" Jeff W
