All of the features above are meant to reduce the distortion in a power cable.

If you have stock power cords, you pretty much have the worst of it and your electronics

are being forced to play through a haze.

The dry, raspy, scratchy vocals. Some parts of the music wrongly pushed out in force versus other parts being buried in the noise with little chance of being heard.

Any time you can reduce distortion, your playback equipment will benefit.

These power cables can help. I have used these and others from the Audioquest lineup with great success. I've used them on amps, preamps, sources.....time and time again, the sound became better.

I wouldn't go without. These become a first basic( but necessary) step to attaining good sound.

I'm repositioning my theater and having to rebuy power cords again since I need different lengths.

Picture shows one cable, you will be getting 2 cables and 2 boxes. My laziness of using prior photo, sorry. Both of these 6ft power cords look like new, but I rate lower due to age. Both include the original boxes.
